He was handed a very lengthy list of items he had to buy before he can marry his intended bride.

However, according to him, he is now confused about what marriage is all about after seeing the list and all the things he had to buy.

The man who has refused to say which part of Nigeria the list is from, says he now feels that people are using marriage to commit day light robbery.


 He also revealed that even if he has, he would not dare put that much money out just to marry.

He claims that the most painful part is, after paying through his nose, the woman will still come to his house and be claiming gender equality with him. *Lol *

Father disowns two sons arrested as cult leaders

 A no nonsense father of two suspected gang leaders of the Awawa cult in the Dopemu area of Agege, Lagos State, has disowned the children, urging the police to prosecute them.
PUNCH Metro learnt that the two suspects – Fatai Popoola and Yakubu Popoola – were arrested by the Lagos State Taskforce on Environmental and Special Offences (Enforcement) Unit, Alausa, on Friday.
It was learnt that the father of two of the suspects, identified only as Alhaji Popoola, told the police that he had given up on them and the law should take its course.
Our correspondent learnt that the 66-year-old father was at the taskforce office, telling the police that he came to tell his sons that their end had come.

    He said,
    “I have warned the two of them several times to desist from gang activities, but they refused. I am shocked that I have two sons among the suspects arrested by the police. They are no longer my sons.
    “I only came as a disciplined man to tell the two of them that their end has come. I think it is a lesson to wayward children to always heed their parents’ advice.”

 One of the suspects, 30-year-old Sanni, alias Last Born, from Okene, Kogi State, confessed to be a leader of the gang, adding that he had raped five women in the course of their operations.

    He said, “The person who brought me into the Awawa cult stays in Oloosha, Mushin area and his name is Olata. I lead the Awawa boys in Dopemu.“Some of my boys also sell Indian hemp at pubs and nightclubs. They sell for as low as N100 and we take Indian hemp before going for any robbery operation.“I have raped about five girls in the area. My boys and I collected N3,000 every day from shop owners in the Dopemu area. We burgled shops in Aluminum Village.”

An Okada Man commits suicide over childlessness

 A commercial motorcyclist, identified as Joshua, has committed suicide in the Isale Aro area of Osogbo, the Osun State capital.

There was pandemonium in the area when residents discovered his remains dangling from a rope in his sitting room.

It was gathered on Saturday that the incident occurred on Thursday evening before Joshua’s wife returned from work.

The woman was said to have raised the alarm when she found the dangling corpse of her husband in their sitting room.

The alarm attracted neighbours, who were said to have rushed to the apartment and were shocked to see how Joshua, also known as Landlord, allegedly ended his life.

A resident of the area, who was among the first set of people to see the dangling body, said Joshua tied a rope to the roof of his sitting room and climbed on two buckets.

The resident explained that Joshua kicked away the buckets after he put the rope round his neck, hanging himself in the process.

Our correspondent found out from residents of the area that the deceased’s marriage had yet to produce a child and this was said to be a probable reason he decided to take his own life.

Joshua, it was further gathered, had lived in the house for many years and some of the neighbours said his childlessness was a source of concern to him.

Some traditional worshippers were reportedly invited to perform some rituals before the body of the deceased was removed and deposited in a mortuary.

Woman Sets Husband on Fire for Sexually Molesting Her 7 Year Old Daughter

TMZ reports that Vincent Phillips, 52, was set ablaze in his sleep by his wife, Tatanysha Hedman, in a fit of rage for sexually molesting her 7-year-old daughter.

The 40-year-old wife and mother waited for her husband to go to bed before dousing him with a flammable liquid and igniting him with a lit match.Fortunately for Phillips, he survived the incident and is now facing first Degree Child Molestation charges for harming his step-daughter while Tatanysha faces assault and arson charges by area police in Renton, Washington.

She has currently been detained in jail, where she awaits the disposition of her case.

Speaking about the incident, she told the police that she deliberately set her hubby ablaze because shooting him would have been ‘too nice’.

Man beats sister-in-law to pulp because she didn't give his brother a child

Ojeriahi Victor, 30, yesterday, appeared before an Ogudu Magistrate’s Court in Lagos State for allegedly beating his elder brother’s wife to a pulp because she was barren. It was alleged that the accused told their neighbours that he beat up his sister-in-law because she had refused to give his elder brother a child after five years of marriage.


Ojeriahi, a businessman who lives on Ibefun Street, Alapere, is facing a one-count charge of assault occasioning harm.
The prosecutor, Mr. Lucky Ihiehie, told the court that the accused committed the offence on June 14 at the complainant’s residence.
Ihiehie said that the incident happened shortly after the complainant, a trader, came back from the market that night.

Woman Who Sustained Severe Burns as a Child & Was Told She Couldn’t Have Kids

 When she was only five months old, Trina Flowers sustained severe burns when her father, who was “extremely” drunk attempted to give her a bath in water that was too hot.

Flowers’ mother had agreed to let her spend the night in the house he shared with his sister and mother. He had then decided to give Trina a bath at 4 am even though he was too drunk to realise that the water was extremely hot.

He couldn’t figure out why she was crying after he placed her in the hot water. He then left the crying baby in the sink filled with hot water to fetch his sister from the bedroom for what might have been an eternity. He didn’t realise what he had done until he returned with his sister to find Trina limp and gasping for breath in the sink.

She was later flown with a helicopter to  UCLA Medical Centre but because of the severity of burns she had sustained on her body, she was told that she would never be able to have children. But now she has three children.

“My mother was 16 my dad was 24 they were having a rocky relationship he asked if I can spend the night at his house he lives with his mother and sister at the time in Compton I was 5 months old and my mother agreed that I can spend the night at his house at 4 in the morning my father was extremely extremely drunk but wanted to give me a bath in the kitchen sink which was no problem but the only problem was he made the sink water only hot water scalding hot water he said he put his hand in it and it felt fine to him but remember he’s extremely extremely drunk he got me out the crib and SAT me in the water he didn’t know why I was screaming so he went to go wake his sister still leaving me in the sink I don’t know how long it took him to wake his sister when they came to the kitchen I was hanging over the sink grunting his sister freaked out did you killed the baby and ran to go wake her mom my father went to the bathroom to grab a towel got me out the water wrap me in a towel…

He wrapped me in a towel and tried to walk me from the city of Compton to the city of Torrance hospital the police picked him up rushed me to Torrance Memorial but they had no burn unit so they helicopter took me me to a medical center were I stayed for 2 months I’m burned on 80 percent of my body and was told I couldn’t have kids I have 3 kids now the burns you see on my stomach was from surgery they were bigger than that They said I couldn’t have kids I have 3 now and they rushed me to UCLA Medical Center.”

Man begs court to dissolve his marriage of 16 years before he commit murder

 A 56-year-old clearing agent, Emmanuel Adedeji, has told an Igando Customary Court in Lagos to dissolve his 16-year-old marriage before the devil uses him to commit murder, because his wife maliciously accused him of using his son for ritual. Adedeji informed the court’s President, Mr. Adegboyega Omilola, that his wife, Funmilayo, with whom he had two children in their 16-year-old marriage, was defaming his character. He said: “My wife accused me of using my physically-challenged son for money ritual. It is God that blessed me with wealth, I never used my son. “Funmilayo beat me up in public and tore my clothes to rags. She is always raining curses on me very early in the morning and those curses are now coming to pass in my life,” he said. Adedeji pleaded with the court to dissolve the marriage, that he was no longer in love and do not want to commit murder. “Please, dissolve the marriage before the devil uses me,” he begged the court. Meanwhile, Funmilayo, 49, a food vendor, owned up to the allegation of raining curses on her husband. She said: “Yes, I always rained curses on him because he used to beat me. On two occasions, he had beaten me to pulp and I ended up in hospital.” Funmilayo said that her husband had been starving her of sex for the past 12 years. “My husband has refused to sleep with me for 12 years now for no just cause,” Funmilayo said. The mother of two said that she accused her husband of using their son for money ritual because his money started booming immediately the baby was born. She said: “My husband’s wealth came after the birth of our baby. Our son is now 14 years old but neither walks nor talks.” She begged the court not to grant her husband’s request, saying she still loves him. The court president, Mr. Adegboyega Omilola, after listening to the couple, adjourned the case till June 23 for further hearing.

Foods That Affects Your Sexual Desire

6. Soya foods 
Soya contains phytoestrogen, consumption of soya foods such as cheese, soya milk, soya beans and everything else made from soya should be reduced to the minimum. Phytoestrogen can cause hormonal imbalance, making men and women perform poorly in bed.

Relationships Suffer Because Women Want to be Men, We Can't be Equal - Ooni of Ife's Wife on gender equality

 Speaking at the just concluded Emerging Women’s Forum, in Maryland, USA, wife of Ooni of Ife, Wuraola Otiti Zynab Obanor, has waded into the much talked about gender equality bill and suggested the need to ignore the bill as men and women cannot be equal.

Olori Zynab said out of no offence to anyone, she’s not a fan of gender equality because she thinks that limits women, and categorically stated that her husband, the Ooni, has his role to play and she has hers.

“I am not a huge fan of gender equality. We can’t be equal, We cant be men. We have our roles to play here, a very pivotal one,” she said,

The queen further outlined the powerful roles women play and how women should tap into their powers by exploring themselves in order to reach extraordinary heights, as opposed to fighting for power with their male counterparts.

“The modern pattern of feminism has succeeded in limiting women of the heights they could reach; gender equality is unrealistic.

“We can never be equal with men, we are here for a great purpose, we have our roles to play we are powerful and we are a force of nature.

Man Mistakenly Slaps Wife to Death After Returning from Vigil

A 36-year-old man Onyekachi Anele, who lived with his family in Obibiezena in Owerri North Lo­cal Government Area of Imo state, has been arrested by the Imo Police Command for mistakenly murdering his 32-year-old wife, Chikodi, after returning from a night vigil which was held at Jesus Disciples Fellowship.

 

According to the Imo Commissioner of Police, Taiwo Lakanu, trouble began on June 1, 2016, when Anele’s wife, asked him to give her son from an earlier marriage, N100 to take to school.

 

Anele said: “I got married to my late wife Chikodi Anele over four years ago. She had a son for another man before we got married. We have been living together in peace. We have two children. Our first child, a girl, is four years old while the second child is a boy, who is just one year old.

Man rapes, impregnates his 15-year-old daughter in Lagos

 According to punch metro;The Lagos State Police Command has arrested a man, Ike Iwuanyanwu, for allegedly raping and impregnating his 15-year-old daughter, Priscilla (pseudonym) at Ajao Estate, in the Isolo area of the state.

it was gathered that Iwuanyanwu, who was a company driver living on Anuoluwapo Street in the estate, was arrested on Wednesday after the matter was reported at the Ajao Estate Police Division.

The victim had been taken into custody by the Lagos State Government,the suspect had also allegedly beaten his daughter and wife, warning them not to disclose the incident to anyone.

Woman begs court to dissolve her 16-year-old marriage, says husband threatens her with Ogboni cult

 A 35-year-old housewife, Tomilola Ogundele, yesterday, asked an Ikole Customary Court to dissolve her 16-year-old marriage to Olanrewaju Aluko over alleged threats to her life. She also alleged that her husband was threatening to deal with her by reporting her to the Ogboni cult. Ogundele filed for divorce on grounds of alleged “threat to her life, no rest of mind, non-payment of her bride price and lack of care for her and the three children of the union.” The defendant, Olanrewaju Aluko, however, denied the allegations during cross-examinations and told the court that he would explain his own side of the story when he opened his defence. The Court’s President, Mrs Yemisi Ojo, adjourned the case to July 11 for continuation of hearing and warned the parties from harassing or assaulting each other anywhere or “else defaulter will be criminally liable.”
