Edward Okeke,an operative of the Economic and Financial Crimes commission allegedly assaulted a 19-year-old girl, Blessing Nwokpa, whom he allegedly got pregnant.

In a statement issued by the Legal Aids Council of Nigeria where the girl laid her complaint, Blessing used to work as a canteen attendant where mr okeke used to eat. Mr Okeke works at the Awolowo Road office of the anti-graft agency as an exhibit keeper.He took advantage of the girl when the girl moved in with him because her brother that brought her to lagos has an accomodation problem and okeke offered to help and asked the girlm to move in with him. The teenager claim she was a virgin before Mr okeke started taking advantage of her and eventually got her pregnant.

He was said to have tried several tricks to get her to abort the baby, including giving her the sum of N18,000 to terminate the pregnancy but when she refused, he gave her the beating of her life.

 Accordig to daily sun,7-month-old Inganathi Mnyani died after her mother's ex-boyfriend, Zukile Nakupi, allegedly flung her against the ceiling, walls and prepaid electricity meter of her mother's Philippi home on January 25, killing her.
Andisiwe and ex-boyfriend, Nakupi allegedly started arguing after she woke up to feed the baby in the early hours of the morning. He reportedly jumped on Inganathi's body, despite attempts from her seven-year-old sister to protect her. The infant died at the scene.

Nakupi was on the run for four days before his arrest. He made his first appearance in the Athlone Magistrate's Court on a murder charge on Monday. The State indicated it would oppose bail.
