The X Factor judge who go married to her ex in July 2014 has begun legal proceedings, by filing paperwork which states irreconcilable differences between them.
The former Girls Aloud singer secretly split with Jean-Bernard 5 months ago. But remain close friends.
A close friend said;
"In the end Cheryl realised she had married too soon and had been swept away by a bit of a whirlwind romance. Over time it became clear to each of them that they were very different people and from very different worlds.
They are now focusing more on making sure they stay friends. The divorce is amicable and they have both said they will always be there for each other."
The two were publicly seen together in October at the 40th birthday bash for I’m A Celeb hosts Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly. meanwhile there relationship ended two months earlier before they were seen at the party.the rate of divorce this days tho
