A 77-year-old retired engineer today at the Agboyi-Ketu Customary Court in Lagos pleaded to have his 23-year-old marriage dissolved, after alleging that his wife often starved him of sex. The septuagenarian, Kola Fagbule, whose address was not disclosed, told the court that his 51-year-old wife, Beatrice, always denied him sex anytime he demanded for it.

“She always starves me of sex whenever I am in the mood and I don’t want to have prostate cancer. At my age, I am supposed to be enjoying sex now and not when I am gone; I don’t want to die before my time,” he told the court.

In an interaction with a daily, UK-based Nigerian star actress and model, Alaba Olatunde, who gave a good account of herself in the movie KO GBODO YE, which also featured Muyiwa Ademola, revealed that His Imperial Majesty Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, the Ooni Ojaja II of Ife is a cute man and she would have loved to date him, but sadly will never happen, not even in her wildest dreams.

"The new Ooni is really a cute man. I'd love to date him, but sadly will never be able to fulfill. It's a taboo in Yoruba land to lie with a King you are not legally and traditionally married to.

Calamity will befall such lady. And it's hard to get rid of such. This is one of the major reasons Kings in Yoruba land are allowed to marry as many wives as they wish," admits Alaba.

Court dissolves 16-year-old marriage for infidelity

On Tuesday,an Asaba customary court dissolved a 16-year-old marriage between Ogbueshi Patrick Osi and Stalla Osi over alleged randy activities and other related acts.

Osi was alleged to have impregnated two maids worked in his private company and aborted the pregnancies. His wife, Stalla, told the court that she could no longer tolerate her husband’s randy acts.

She said, “I have been patient enough; I have caught my husband with maids who worked for him and he slept with them and put them in family ways.”The plaintiff said she was disappointed when her husband claimed responsibility for the pregnancy of six young girls, adding that he threatened to send her packing if she raised the alarm.

Explaining how he got to know of her husband acts, the housewife told the court, “God exposed my husband in relationship with teenage girls. I cannot stand the scandal again. I want the marriage dissolved.”

On cross examination, counsel to the accused, Mr. Raphael Ogor, said the housewife took a rash decision to ask for dissolution of their 16-year marriage, praying the court to exercise caution and bring both parties together.

The accused through his counsel alleged the wife was taking instructions from her friend who wanted her out of the marriage.

But the presiding Judge, Mr. Ibekwe Lawson, granted the dissolution on irreconcilable differences and randy acts on the part of the man.

Police arrest LASU worker for killing his married lover

According to PUNCH Metro, An official of the Lagos State University, Samuel Ambe, has been arrested by the police for allegedly killing his lover, Mata Jidonu.
Thirty-two-year-old Mata was married to a lawyer, Sunday Jidonu, for whom she had three children.
It was learnt that the suspect worked at the Department of Works and Physical Planning of the university.

Mata, who lived in the Agric area of Ikogazebba, Badagry, had left home around 3pm on February 15, saying she was going to buy foodstuffs in the market, but reportedly headed for the lover’s house, a few kilometres away.

On Sunday, March 13, 2016 during the comedy concert, Chronicles of Ushbebe, AY finally clead the air on his perceived marital issues.AY disclosed that he fumigated his house sometimes back and while his wife left home , he returned home the same day the house was fumigated and this sparked off allegations and rumours that he had marital issues.AY also noted that popular blogger, Stella Dimoko Korkus got wind of his wife staying out of the house for few days and without enquiring on why she wasn't home.

The comedian further reaffirmed that he would not only love his wife till his dying days but would stay in marriage all the days of his life.

A 45-year-old mechanic, Edward Azinka in Okpanam community near Asaba has sent his wife packing for attending a two-day vigil in a church .

It was gathered that the woman, Awele Azinka was sacked by her husband for disobeying him and attending a church vigil for two days without performing her civic duties.

Reports said the house-wife had before the vigil informed her husband of a church organised vigil for housewives to ward-off sudden death.

But this was not to be when the man threatened he would ensure the wife was sacked from the house if she dared attend the vigil without his kind permission.

Leadership reports that the housewife who claimed the husband’s decision was too rash for her to contend with, said: “I was invited for a two-day vigil in a nearby church Holy Mission and I did mentioned it to my husband, instead of giving me a go ahead, he threatened to throw away my properties, I did not listen to him, I went but see what I have suffered”.
